What Is the AnchorMesh Planner?

The AnchorMesh Planner is our core planning engine — a software system that enables robots to place, move, and validate objects with high precision in warehouse environments.

From single-SKU stacking to complex mixed-case palletization, the Planner evaluates spatial opportunities in real time and selects optimal placement anchors based on geometry, orientation rules, collision checks, and packing efficiency.

How It Works

At its core, the Planner combines:

  • 📦 Anchor-based placement: We compute viable 3D anchors to ensure safe and logical placement on pallets, bins, or shelves.

  • 🧠 Spatial intelligence: Uses R-trees, bounding volumes, and efficient overlap detection to make real-time placement decisions.

  • 🧭 Motion-aware planning: Considers robot kinematics and reachability during planning — not after.

  • ⏱️ Real-time validation: Every step is checked against space constraints and warehouse logic before execution.
